2012 started with my purchase of a Fuji X100 camera to elevate my skill in photography. I chose the Fuji X100 because it has a 1.5x crop sensor in the body of a mid-sized point & shoot camera. I didn’t think that this camera would take over the full-time duty of my Nikon Digital SLR (DSLR), but it did.
The photo quality and colors were simply amazing. For the first time, I was able to enjoy capturing a photo without having the camera get in my way. Also for the first time, I started believing in JPEG outputs. The files put out by the Fuji X100 were simply amazing.
But enough about the camera. Here are my favorite photos from 2012 captured on my vacations throughout the year.
